about

i'm daraitis. i build software and take photographs.

this site is where both live. it's lean on purpose — no CMS, no analytics, no tracking. just MDX in a repo and bytes in an object store.

stack i like

  • systems: linux, proxmox, ceph, openstack
  • languages: typescript, python, go (in order of recent use)
  • frameworks: next.js, fastapi, sveltekit
  • infra: terraform, ansible, caddy, nginx

    • photography

mostly landscapes and portraits. i shoot with a sony a7iv and a couple of vintage manual lenses (helios 44-2, minolta rokkor 58mm). i'm not precious about gear.
